Shipper’s Export Declaration

Form required for all U.S. export shipments by mail valued at more than $500 and for non mail shipments with declared Value greater than $2,500. Also required for shipments requiring a U.S. Department of Commerce validated export license or U.S. Department of State license regardless of value of goods. Prepared by a shipper indicating the value, weight, destination, and other basic information about the shipment. The shipper’s export declaration is used to control exports and compile trade statistics.
